Key Features

The entire line is governed by microcomputer logic with servo-linked bus architecture. Pleat height, knife spacing, and feed speed are set digitally, eliminating manual trial-and-error and ensuring dimensional accuracy across every fold — critical for filters that must meet strict HEPA and sub-HEPA efficiency standards.

At up to 200 folds per minute with continuously adjustable speed, the folding machine sustains production rates that match downstream assembly demands. Automatic fold counting removes the need for manual batch tracking, reducing operator workload and error.

A 4 kW preheating section applies controlled heat up to 200°C immediately after folding. This thermal shaping locks pleat geometry in place, preventing spring-back in glass fiber and synthetic media and delivering filter packs that hold form during subsequent bonding or framing.

Filter paper input widths from 32 mm to 1100 mm and pleat heights from 30 mm to 100 mm cover the majority of commercial and industrial filter element sizes. Changeover between specifications requires only parameter adjustments at the control panel — no mechanical retooling.

All pleating and cutting movements are driven by pneumatic cylinders operating at 0.6 MPa. Pneumatic systems offer consistent force output, fast cycle response, and straightforward maintenance compared to hydraulic alternatives, keeping long-term operating costs low.
